If you're a good candidate, we'll take digital impressions of your teeth using advanced 3D imaging technology. These images are used to create a customized treatment plan that maps out the exact movements of your teeth. You'll even be able to see a virtual representation of how your smile will look after treatment, giving you a clear vision of the end result before you even start.
Receiving and Wearing Your Aligners
Once your custom aligners are ready, you'll return to our office to receive your first set. Dr. Bell will ensure they fit properly and provide detailed instructions on how to wear and care for them. You'll need to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Each set of aligners is worn for about 1-2 weeks before moving on to the next set in the series. As you progress through your aligners, you'll start to notice your teeth gradually shifting into their desired positions. The number of aligners in your series will depend on your specific treatment plan, but many teens complete their Invisalign treatment in 12-18 months.
